St. Bride's Church

In 2010, George Robb Architect was engaged to review the stained glass windows of St. Bride’s mid‑century church. The initial report documented their condition and provided cost estimates, leading to restoration of the nave and narthex windows later that year.
In 2012, the firm was retained to address the deteriorated north and south transept windows. The original wood frames had warped glazing and failed venting, prompting replacement with a curtain wall glazing system. This design incorporated insulated exterior panels, interior channels to support the stained glass, and integrated venting slots to regulate temperature and reduce condensation. Interior finishes were renewed following removal of an obsolete organ speaker enclosure. The project was completed in fall 2012.
A comparable scope of work was undertaken on the south transept window system in 2017, ensuring the long‑term preservation of the church’s stained glass and architectural character.
