YMCA Camp Wanakita
The YMCA Site located along the north shore of Koshlong Lake provides an exceptional setting for summer camp, retreat, team building and environmental training and education.
The site and its significant inventory of buildings has provided a rich context for the provision of one of the largest annual camp experiences in the province.
GRA was retained to provide a master plan for a five year renewal strategy. The plan included the re-visioning the approach and arrivals to several key buildings, reinforcing the shoreline and waterfront for growing programs, provision of a central staff facility, the provision of a new "Leadership Eco Village", and a long term accommodation strategy.
